Funder Å near Silkeborg offers a good fishing for brook and lake trout. In the fall, the big lake trout come up in the river to spawn and here is the chance to catch one of the very big ones. Funder Å has its origin at Moselund/Engesvang around Bølling Lake, where Karup Å also originates. The river runs in Silkeborg Langsø and therefore also Gudenåen.
