Tissø

Tissø offers a really good pike fishing in the spring as well as the late autumn/winter, a really fine perch and zander fishing in the season. Tissø is known for its good zander fishing.

Tissø is an easy lake to navigate. It has the shape of a bowl with slopes all the way around, which more or less steep goes from 2 to approx. 10 meters depth. In the middle of the lake, the depth is up to 13.5 meters. A stone reef - Aborreholm - 350 to 400 meters from land, in the middle of the eastern side of the lake, lies at normal water depth just below the surface, so if you are stuck some way out in the lake you know where you are - even in fog. Here, many fine perch have been caught over time, not least on the slope towards the middle of the lake.
