The area south of Voer ferry harbor is one of the more friendly places to wade in the fjord. In the early spring when the water is still cold, there are good chances of taking shiny seatrout that has migrated in from the salty Kattegat to the brackish water in Randers Fjord. The fjord is provided with large quantities of fresh water from the Gudenå system and Alling Å. This also means that a number of post spawners are hooked on the way back from the rivers every spring. Please note that these are specially preserved throughout the year in Randers Fjord and must be released immediately.
